Static cling state map13 viewsSince I didn't want to cover an entire window with our "states we've camped in" map, and they no longer sell the sticker version, I opted to mount it on the inside of the door. I cut a sheet of plexi to fit the door and the map outline sheet sticks to the plastic via static cling. The states are stickers though. The plexi is mounted to the door via velcro.Apr 02, 2010

We can now swing the TV out for watching on the couch or at the dinette.14 viewsApr 02, 2010

Cables connected15 viewsI still need to clean up the cables so they're not so messy.Apr 02, 2010

Arm partially extended15 viewsThe arm has 3 extension pivot points and can tilt up and down for best viewing angle.Apr 02, 2010

19" LCD/DVD combo mounted to articulating arm16 viewsThe articulating arm offers us more options for viewing angle of the TV than the flat base.Apr 02, 2010

Mounting screws on left side of panel15 viewsI repeated the mounting process in the cabinet on the left side of the TV panel and secured using deck screws.Apr 02, 2010

Panel secured & LCD bracket cleat installed17 viewsThe panel is now mounted above the fridge. The LCD bracket comes in two pieces and allows you to easily remove the bracket/TV for travel. This cleat is secured to the wood panel with bolts and T nuts.Apr 02, 2010

Panel secured17 viewsI put the panel in place, drew a line along the outside edge so I knew where the edge of the panel is, I then drilled holes from the "panel side" into the cabinet using that pencil line as my guide to stay back. I then put the panel in place and then drilled from the cabinet side into the end grain of the panel and secured using deck screws.Apr 02, 2010

Microwave removed18 viewsI didn't want screws exposed in the panel, so I chose to mount the panel by screwing into the end of the panel. To do so, I had to remove the microwave from the cabinet to gain access to the cabinet side.Apr 02, 2010

New solid panel19 viewsRather than trying to install supports behind the panel, I opted to make a new panel out of 1x6 wood glued together. This panel is mounted in front of the original panel and provides the strength to support the weight of the TV.Apr 02, 2010

Original fridge vent panel19 viewsThis panel covers the rear of the fridge and acts as a vent cabinet for the heat from the fridge to travel up and out the roof of the camper. It's thin paneling, and not able to support any weight.Apr 02, 2010
