Monthly check in
Man,I need to be more active on my own site. So here’s what’s new in our world. Spring has hopefully finally sprung and we’ll be kissing the cold weather goodbye for a while. This is a good thing because Savannah is tired of being inside all the time. We’ve been taking evening walks whenever the weather has been nice enough to do so. She’s very observant when we’re out walking and pointing out all the different words, objects, colors, etc. that she knows. It’s amazing to see and hear all the things she’s learning. This also signals the transition of Mommy & Daddy having to watch what we say as she’s a sponge and is starting to repeat things she hears!
This past weekend we broke the camper out of it’s winter cocoon and I spent most of the weekend installing the new curtains and electrical changes I worked on over the winter months. We can’t wait to get out and get the first trip of the season under our belts.
With help from mom, we went from this:
to this:
I also made some electrical changes in the camper so now we shouldn’t run into overloaded circuits anymore. Sure it would be easier to just leave some of my electrical toys at home, but then it wouldn’t be as much fun.
Savannah’s a biker girl in training already. We put together her tricycle/rocker/thingy the other day and she’s put more miles on that thing in a few weeks than daddy has on his bike lately.
Everytime she sees it in the garage she points out “nannah’s bike” and she points to my bike “daddah’s bike”. She also points out every motorcycle she sees on the road as Daddah’s bike. A couple more years and she’ll be tooling around with me on my bike. I can’t wait!
I guess that’s about it for now. We’re planning Savannahs 2 year birthday party, so look for invitations soon. Also be on the look out for more camping trip pictures.
